Christian Books Help Aid Us In Personal|Spiritual Growth
God uses Christian books to help us as Christians grow in our knowledge of him. There is much that we can benefit from just by reading Christian books, and some such benefits include:
-
We benefit from other Christian brothers and sisters research and hard work on the respective topics they write about.
-
We grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ.
-
We gain a better understanding of God’s Word.
-
We can develop discernment on matters of our faith. (Not be easily deceived)
-
We better prepare ourselves to “give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you” – 1 Pe 3:16
-
We fill our minds with things that are praiseworthy. (2 Ti 3:16)
-
We develop a relationship with God by learning more about Him.
There are many advantages to reading Christian books, and I want to encourage you to strengthen your faith by learning more about our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.

We can read many examples in the Bible of people hearing the Word of God, and simply rejecting it for one reason, or another. In fact, one only needs to look around them today, and find lots of people with different reasons why they do not except God’s gift to the world.
What is God’s gift to the World?
God’s gift to the world is (more…)
Haggai Chapter 1:
Chapter 1 of the book of Haggai, much like the entire book itself is very short. However, the book’s brevity does not mean that it’s impact is any less significant.
Haggai is chalked full of interesting observations, meaningful convictions and timeless applications that we as Christians can use to improve our spiritual walk with Christ.

Unfortunately, we as Christians have a very anemic view of the Almighty God. And, bible literacy in the body of Christ is dismal to say the least, which means that the very foundations of our faith are at great risk. They are at risk because (more…)
